For more than 100 years, Tabor Services, Inc. has strived to ensure the safety of children, youth, adults and families across the five-county Philadelphia region by providing in-home protective services, adoption, foster care, prevention and adolescent services. To keep the good work going for years to come and better serve the countless children, at-risk youth and families that rely on the organization, Tabor Services, Inc. turned to DVREDF for financing to upgrade its headquarters in Germantown.

In operation since 1907, Tabor Services a rich history, growing from a small orphanage to a multi-service community based organization with multiple locations throughout the region. Serving southeastern PA and nearby NJ, Tabor offers a full range of services to children and their families, including adoption, foster care, mental health programs, prevention services, and special offerings for adolescents. In 2010, Tabor provided a range of services to nearly 2100 children and families. Tabor Services Inc. is the parent company of Tabor Children’s Services, a multi-service child welfare agency serving children, youth, young adults and families with locations in Doylestown and Philadelphia, Tabor Children’s House, a child development center on the historic Doylestown campus offering a daily schedule of pre and afterschool care, day care from infants to kindergarten and a summer camp program, and Southern Homes Services which operates in North Philadelphia and Germantown.
